LIARS

I have never been a big fan of LIARS but with their last release (WIXIW) they got my full attention.

The album can be classified as Electronic Dark Ambient Pop (Yeah!). Songs are really creepy and with lack of emotion. Angus Andrew sings here like a robot. It is like music without soul but still damn cool.

All my respects for this chameleonic band that started doing post punk. Look now:

That moment when you are so addicted to a song that you have to fight yourself to stop pressing the Play button.

And that song right now is Breezeblocks from this new Indie band from UK known as "ALT-J" or ∆.

MISTER LIES

Mister Lies (Nick Zanca) is a 19 year old Chicago-based producer/artist. The "kid" is a genius. His songs breathe tranquility, kind of Ambient Gospel and Downtempo.

He has released one EP so far (Hidden Neighbours) and a few singles.

INSTALLED: PAISAJES DE INVIERNO

Installed is the project from the Mexican Fernando Alvarez that bring us this collection of indie jewels perfect for a solitary winter day.

I just realized yesterday that is (together with KIN) the album I have listened more times during this 2012.

What can we find in this 9 songs EP? Lots of loops and magnificent vocal samplings. It is really difficult to catalogue this artist. Not a songwriter.. maybe more of a producer... but they guy is pure talent.

Bienvenidos al onírico mundo de Installed:
